Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking an Internal Audit Intern to learn auditing, operational, and accounting activities across properties in Las Vegas. The role involves periodic interaction with mid-level management and staff, developing hands-on experience in controls, compliance, and process improvement.

You will assist in audits, document processes, and participate in special projects while shadowing seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older by internship start.
• College junior/senior or graduate student in accounting or related field.
• Travel of approximately 5–15% may be required.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles; familiar with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Able to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing compliance, financial, and operational audits at Caesars properties, primarily Las Vegas locations.
• Assist in examining and evaluating information systems and business controls for adequacy and effectiveness.
• Assess compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Document business processes and controls per department standards.
• Contribute to relationships with property mid-management and staff.
• Present oral and written audit results to various levels of management.
• Participate in ad hoc special projects with mid-level corporate or property management.
• Engage in shadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities in accounting, auditing, and operations.
