Job summary

Morgan Stanley Baltimore is seeking a Director for the Internal Audit Division’s Corporate Services Audit Group. The role leads assurance activities across front, middle, and back offices to assess control effectiveness and risk, with 4 days on-site in Baltimore per week.

You will drive risk-focused audits, facilitate stakeholder discussions, and coordinate multiple deliverables while fostering inclusive behaviors and developing the team.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of business line and key regulations relevant to coverage area.
  • Strong understanding of audit principles, methodology, tools, and processes.
  • Ability to identify and analyze multiple data sources to inform point of view.
  • Ability to ask meaningful questions, understand various viewpoints and adapt messaging accordingly.
  • A commitment to practicing inclusive behaviors.
  • At least 4 years' relevant experience.
  • Certifications such as CIA, CPA, CFA are preferred.

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Director for the Human Resources Corporate Services Audit Group.The Internal Audit Division (IAD) drives attention and resources to vulnerabilities by providing an independent and well-informed view and impactful messages about the most important risks facing our Firm. This is accomplished by performing a range of assurance activities to independently assess the quality and effectiveness of Morgan Stanley’s system of internal control, including risk management and governance systems and processes. IAD serves as an objective and independent function within the Firm’s risk management framework to foster continual improvement of risk management processes. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
