Johnson Lambert LLP is seeking Internal Audit Associates to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL. You will participate in client engagements from planning through completion, focusing on internal controls, process improvements, and data analysis.

Expect to develop expertise in insurance industry processes while leveraging automation to enhance audit workflows. The role emphasizes rising through leadership tracks, pursuing the CIA designation, and applying analytics tools such as PowerBI,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• Interest in pursuing CIA designation.
• Experience or aptitude with data analytics tools (PowerBI/Alteryx/Tableau/AI apps).
• 0–1 year of work experience in public accounting or internal audit.
• Strong leadership track record.

Responsibilities

• Review clients' processes and controls against industry frameworks.
• Conduct client walkthrough interviews focusing on key controls and processes.
• Identify process and control design/execution gaps.
• Document and test client internal controls.
• Assist in developing project workpapers and data analysis workflows.
• Develop knowledge of clients' businesses and the insurance industry through direct client interaction.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements based on client operations.
• Assist in implementing new processes and controls addressing key risks.
• Plan work in appropriate priorities and sequences.
• Manage work time to meet client expectations and deadlines.
• Participate in Career Development Program activities (leadership, recruiting, marketing).
• Stay abreast of automation technologies and emerging trends to drive innovation.
• Continuously evaluate processes to optimize and automate.
