Job summary

Terumo Neuro seeks an Intern in Supply Chain Planning to develop reports and dashboards using Power BI and SQL, and to enhance planning workflows within IBP. You will support planners by analyzing sales, production, inventory, and orders, and help ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

You must be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, SCM, or Business Admin, with strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency in Office tools.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of data analysis tools - Power BI, SQL etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

Intern, Supply Chain Planning

Salary: $21 - $34/hour. Compensation packages may be higher/lower than what is listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, education and class level.

Supply Chain Planning Intern

Responsibilities

• Tools Development: Creating and establishing reports and dashboards on alerts, key performance indicators (KPIs), and supply chain planning metrics using Power BI and/or SQL
• Process Development: Enhance existing planning workflows and create new workflows to suit evolving business needs, particularly within IBP
• Planner Support: Work under the guidance of planning team member(s) to collect, analyze, and interpret sales, production, inventory, and order data to identify trends, outliers, gaps, and provide insights to planners and help solve problems. Assist in monitoring inventory levels against targets, recommend gap closure tactics, and perform root cause analysis on gaps/shortages.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's or master's degree program in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
