Job summary

Paradigm Power Delivery, Inc. in Overland Park, KS invites motivated students to join our team as engineering interns. We are seeking civil, electrical engineering, and construction management students to support field operations and project teams.

Responsibilities include takeoffs, data collection for submittals, assisting with purchasing, maintaining records, and helping generate change orders and as-built data. This is a hands-on role with real project exposure and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student in civil engineering, electrical engineering or construction management.
• Interest in supporting field operations and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform material takeoffs from drawings, specifications and other documents.
• Assist Project Managers and Engineers with data gathering for submittals.
• Assist in purchasing and subcontracts and handling minor solicitations.
• Maintain basic project records, RFIs, memos and daily reports.
• Enter data into the job cost system and review cost reports with site management.
• Assist in generating change orders and as-built data for review.

Job duties may include:

• Perform material takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and other contract documents
• Perform basic engineering calculations and technical drafting to support field operations
• Assist Project Managers and Engineers to gather and prepare data for submittal or transmittal to the customer, vendors, subcontractors, governmental agencies, and internal use
• Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and subcontracts, performing minor solicitations and purchasing as requested
• Assist in the maintenance of basic project recordkeeping and correspondence functions, including daily reports, photographs, requests for information (RFIs), and memorandums
• Assist with entering data into the job cost system and participate in reviewing cost reports with job site management
• Assist in generating change orders and as-built data to be reviewed by the Project Manager
