Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Company invites you to join Seed Creative as a Video Production Intern.

This on-site role in Orrville offers hands-on exposure to pre-production planning, production of food product and lifestyle shoots, and post-production workflows using DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Cinema 4D. You will work with Arri/RED cinema cameras, cinema lenses, and in-set studio lighting, gaining practical experience while building collaborative industry connections through

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Media Arts or Digital Media Production
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Experience managing multiple projects with timelines and resources
• Basic knowledge of cinema camera operation and lens optics
• Fundamentals of video lighting concepts
• Familiarity with Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve and After Effects
• Strong communication to build collaborative relationships

Responsibilities

• Support content projects across Smucker brands in Seed Creative
• Assist in pre-production planning and strategy discussions
• Contribute to production of food product and lifestyle videography/photography
• Work with in-set lighting, Arri/RED cameras and cinema lenses
• Assist in post-production using DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro
• Support motion design and compositing in After Effects/Cinema 4D
• Participate in color grading and audio mixing as needed

Your Opportunity as a Video Production Intern in the Seed Creative

As an intern within our Creative Design organization you will provide support to various content projects and campaigns across Smuckers portfolio of brands as part of our in-house agency Seed Creative

Location Orrville OH

Work Arrangements On-site 25 on-site expectations

In this role you will

• Gain exposure to working in Pre-Production by being involved in the creative approach planning strategy
• Work in production of content for food product and lifestyle videophotography shots
• Gain hands-on experience with Arri RED Canon cameras and cinema lenses in-set studio lighting and interview lighting
• Network with freelance industry professionals
• Work in Post-Production editing with Davinci Resolve Premiere Pro
• Utilize 2D3D Motion DesignCompositing in After Effects Cinema 4D
• Colorgrade Raw Footage with Davinci Resolve
• Audio Design and Sound Mix with Logic Pro

What we are looking for

• A Junior pursuing a Bachelors degree in Film and Media Arts or Digital Media Production
• A GPA of 30 or higher
• Proven experience flawlessly managing multiple projects including timelines and resources at one time
• Basic core knowledge of cinema camera operation and lens optics
• Basic fundamentals of video lighting concepts
• Base knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or Davinci Resolve and familiarity with After Effects
• The ability to create strong positive collaborative relationships through excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust
