Job summary

Sephora is offering a 10-week Internship in Strategic Sourcing in the United States. The program runs from June 14 to August 20, 2027, with 36 hours per week (Mon-Fri, PST) and an optional summer shutdown in July.

You will support sourcing initiatives, conduct supplier research, and assist with RFx and contract activities while developing analytical skills and business acumen. Eligible interns must reside in the U.S., be prepared to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area after graduation for

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Coursework or experience in sourcing, procurement, project management, legal or analytics is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of ERP or sourcing tools is a plus.

Position title: Intern, Strategic Sourcing

Your role at Sephora...

As the Intern, Strategic Sourcing, you will support sourcing initiatives that drive value across the business. You will gain hands‑on experience with supplier research, business requirements, RFx development and evaluation, pricing and category analysis, supplier negotiations, and contract support while building practical sourcing and analytical skills.

What you will accomplish:

Support strategic sourcing projects by researching supply markets and partnering with stakeholders to identify business requirements.

Help stakeholders define and execute sourcing needs using the Intake-to-Contract process and associated tools.

Assist with RFx execution by preparing documentation, evaluating supplier responses, and compiling summary analyses to support decisions.

Contribute to supplier negotiations and contract authoring and editing while learning Sephora approval processes and authority levels.

Analyze assigned categories to identify opportunities to optimize total cost of ownership and business outcomes.

Qualifications & experience:

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with data and documentation.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Coursework or prior experience related to sourcing, procurement, project management, legal, or analytics is a plus.

Basic knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) or sourcing tools is a plus.

Eligibility requirements:

Work schedule must align with 9-5PM, Pacific Standard Time

Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.

Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full‑time hybrid positions *

What You’ll Get:

The target hourly pay for this position is $27.00- $27.00. The actual hourly pay offered depends on various factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non‑discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
