Job summary

Watchfire is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for the summer co-op to work with our engineers on coding, building, and testing applications and products. This hands-on role provides real-world experience across development tasks and collaboration with the R&D team.

You will participate in software development activities, assist with projects and prototyping, and help build, test, and evaluate new or existing products while maintaining quality work during the summer term.

Qualifications

• Student enrolled in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering programs.
• Must have been enrolled full-time for the current semester; new graduates are eligible.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; no sponsorships considered.

Software Engineering Intern

Summary

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Experience with either C++, C#, Java on either Windows, or Linux platforms
• Experience with either AWS or Azure based deploymentslob>
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint, Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of semester
• Able to work up to 40 hours per week during summer session

Required Education And Licensing

• Student enrolled in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology Electrical Engineering, or any other Engineering program with good GPA and proficiency in software and data science courses and projects.
• Must have been enrolled full-time for the current semester, new graduates are still eligible for this position
