If you lead off with authenticity, are ready to slide in headfirst, value diversity and inclusion, and can acknowledge a broader vision, then we want you on our team!The **Intern, Retail Event Specialization** supports the full scope of USA Baseball’s retail operations, including the official online shop () and satellite stores at various USA Baseball events throughout the year, including the National Team Championships – Arizona.**Position Details:*** Full-time hours (40+ hours/week)* Duration: June– July 2026* On-site work required\*\*In This Role: \*\*As an **Intern, Retail Event Specialization**, you will gain hands-on experience in merchandising, supply chain logistics, customer service, and e-commerce operations while contributing to the success of USA Baseball’s retail enterprise. You may:* Recruit, interview, hire and train a staff of hourly associates to assist in daily operations at the Team Store in Arizona.* Oversee inventory, shipping and tracking of officially licensed merchandise for the USA Baseball National Teams Championship - Arizona event from the time it’s shipped from North Carolina prior to the start of the event to the time any unsold merchandise is returned at the conclusion of the event.* Responsible for complete set up and break down of the USA Baseball Team Store in Arizona within the event timeline parameters.* Develop a thorough understanding of how to use the Shopify Point of Sale system.* Manage the USA Baseball Team Store in Arizona for the duration of the event – includes assisting with daily opening and closing procedures, restocking and ensuring merchandise is always neatly and properly displayed.* Regularly monitor merchandise inventory.* Provide excellent customer service to all guests of the Team Store regarding the items sold and surrounding area information.
