SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking an Intern, Research & Development for the spring 2027 semester (January–April). You will assist in firearm component design, create CAD models with SolidWorks, and work with engineers and technicians in a team setting.
The role requires pursuing a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, basic CAD/Office skills, and clear written and spoken English; relocation is not provided.
This is an internship/co-op for the spring 2027 semester (January-April). Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

The Intern, Research & Development will assist in the design of firearm components and accessories and contribute to departmental goals as assigned. This temporary engineering position is intended for engineering students that are actively working toward a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. The Intern, Research & Development will work in a team environment with the Research & Development Designers, Test Technicians, and Engineers.
