Job summary

Halff’s Public Works internship in Lubbock, TX offers hands-on civil engineering exposure with supervision from a Professional Engineer. You will work on Public Works and Transportation projects, gaining CAD drafting, plan preparation, and cost estimation experience.

The program runs June 7, 2027 through August 13, 2027, with a full-time, 40-hour week schedule. Housing is not provided; a strong emphasis on communication, teamwork and organization will help you succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors

Public Works Intern

Halff is actively seeking an Intern for our Public Works team in our Lubbock, TX office. The Civil Engineering Intern will help with Public Works and Transportation projects. The Internship will begin on June 7th, 2027, and conclude on August 13th, 2027.

Interns are paid hourly and work full-time (40 hours/week), typically 8a-5p Monday through Friday.

Halff does not pay for or provide housing for Internships.
