Job summary

Symbotic invites motivated students for a Summer Internship as an Intern-Project Manager in Wilmington, MA. You will support PMO initiatives, develop reporting tools, and help optimize cross-functional project governance across engineering, supply chain, and operations.

You will work with project leaders to analyze processes, create dashboards, and present findings. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced robotics and automation environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Curious mindset with a desire to learn new tools, processes, and ways of working.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with teammates and stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with data and drawing insights from information.
• Exposure to project management and reporting tools is a plus.
• Ability to take initiative and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic PMO initiatives focused on improving project execution, communication, and operational efficiency.

Intern- Project Manager

Who We Are

Program Management plays a critical role in supporting complex automation programs across Symbotic . The team partners with stakeholders across engineering, supply chain, installation, finance, and operations to improve project execution, drive organizational alignment, and establish scalable processes that support business growth. The Program Management focuses on creating visibility into program health, strengthening governance, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across cross‑functional initiatives.

What We Need

We are seeking a motivated Pr ogram Management Intern to support strategic initiatives focused on project governance, process improvement, and cross‑functional program execution. This role is ideal for a student interested in project management, operations, industrial engineering, or business process optimization.

As a PMO Intern, you will work alongside project and program leaders to analyze processes, develop reporting and visualization tools, improve communication workflows, and support initiatives that increase organizational effectiveness. You will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that help teams make better decisions, improve visibility into program performance, and enhance how information is shared across the business.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $29.00 - $40.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
