Tallgrass in Houston, TX, is offering a Summer 2027 internship in Project Management. The selected interns will support the Procurement Manager in day-to-day operations of a major project within the project management team.

This in-person, temporary full-time role runs May through August for 10 weeks, with an hourly pay range of $20.90 to $37.09, housing stipend possible, and opportunities to learn about capital projects across natural gas, hydrogen, ammonia transport, and CO2 sequestration.

Formación

• Students actively enrolled in an approved bachelor’s or master’s Industrial Engineering and or Supply Chain program with expected graduation date of December 2026- May 2028.
• Microsoft Office expert level
• Excellent math skills

Responsabilidades

• Assisting in the evaluation of technical bids and proposals, organizing bid tabulations, etc.
• Data quality review of third-party engineering deliverables Aiding in the creating procurement processes and procedures.
• Supporting the auditing efforts, maintaining logs of requests and keeping minutes of meetings
• Cataloging and archiving vendor documents
• Assist in preparation of reports and ad Hoc tasks as requested by the Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities

What will you do:

The selected candidates will work in the Tallgrass Project Management department in Houston, Texas. The intern’s main responsibility will be to support the Procurement Manager in the day-to-day running of a major project. You will become part of the project management team of a project.

You Can Expect To

• Assisting in the evaluation of technical bids and proposals, organizing bid tabulations, etc.

Our internships are temporary full-time positions, in-person at our Houston office. We will host our Summer 2027 interns from May-August for 10 weeks.

Compensation And Other Benefits

• Pay Range $20.90-$37.09 USD hourly
• The final pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and working location. The total compensation package for this role may also include paid time off, a housing stipend, and more.
