Job summary

Asana Partners is seeking a Private Equity Analyst Program participant to develop best-in-class private equity real estate skills within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team. The three-year program offers increasing responsibility, exposure to investments, development, asset management, and more.

Upon completion, Analysts are promoted to Associate and placed in a value-add function such as investments, leasing, or capital markets, with mentorship and a focus on leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior executives and teams to provide analytics, research, and execution support for investment underwriting, modeling, diligence, analytics, fundraising, and portfolio budgeting.
• Develop and maintain projection models highlighting investment performance metrics.
• Plan and produce investor reporting and investor meeting deliverables.
• Support equity and debt financing transactions including equity capital raising and secured debt placements.
• Build or streamline internal processes to drive operating efficiency across departments.
• Gain expertise in platforms like Argus Enterprise, Yardi, MapDash, and WDesk.

The Private Equity Analyst Program is a three-year program during which the Analyst will develop best-in-class private equity real estate skills in a team-oriented, fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and high-performance environment. Each year of the program is structured to give the Analyst an increasing amount of responsibility at the firm and exposure to the private equity real estate industry while also placing heightened focus on development of interpersonal and leadership skills. After completing the program, each Analyst will be promoted to Associate and will be placed in a distinctive value-add functional area – based on skillset and interest. Functional areas include investments, development, asset management, portfolio management, leasing, capital markets, and investor relations. Duties include:

• Work closely with senior executives and various execution teams to provide analytics, research, and execution support for key strategic areas including investment underwriting, modeling, acquisition diligence, business analytics, fundraising, capital markets, investor relations, investment analytics, leasing analytics, valuations, and portfolio-level budgeting and reforecasting


• Develop and maintain sophisticated projection models highlighting critical investment performance metrics


• Plan and produce investor reporting and investor meeting deliverables


• Support equity and debt financing transactions, including equity capital raising and secured debt placements


• Build or streamline internal processes to drive operating efficiency across departments


• Gain expertise in a variety of technical platforms, including Argus Enterprise, Yardi, MapDash, and WDesk
