Dominion Energy Chesterfield Power Station in Chester, VA is seeking a motivated Instrument Technician Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting power station operations and maintenance activities. Working alongside experienced technicians, the intern will assist with the inspection, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation used to monitor and control plant equipment. The intern will support preventative maintenance activities, collect and analyze data, participate in equipment inspections, and assist with projects related to instrumentation and control systems. This position provides valuable exposure to power generation equipment, plant operations, and industrial maintenance practices while developing technical and professional skills in a safe and team-oriented environment.
Education Level: Currently pursuing and enrolled in an Associate's degree program in Instrumentation, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Must have an expected graduation date of Fall 2028 or 2029.
Must have a 3.0 GPA or above.

Hourly Rate:
$22.00 - $28.00
The hourly rate listed is the rate we anticipate paying for this position. If a range is listed, the actual hourly rate offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's degree type, academic major, and/or school classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, senior).
