Job summary

BPMI, Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc., offers an Intern - Business Systems Administrator role for Summer 2027. You will assist in administration, maintenance, and support of BPMI systems (e.g. Oracle Fusion Cloud) to promote reliable operations and security.

The internship is full-time (40 hours/week) and in-office. You must be enrolled in MIS, Business Analytics, CS, or related fields with at least six semesters completed, and be capable of obtaining a DoE security clearance.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in MIS, Business Analytics, CS, CIS, BI, IS/Tech (undergraduate).
• Minimum six semesters completed (~90 credits).
• Must be able to obtain/maintain DoE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic maintenance and administration of BPMI business systems, including user management and role permissions.
• Support system upgrades by executing tests and documenting results.
• Assist with configuration changes and tracking work by third-party consultants.
• Coordinate user support, answer usage questions, and update process docs.
• Gather information to support internal and external audit requests.
• Help update procedures, user guides, and training materials reflecting changes.
• Participate in department initiatives for process improvement and system changes.
