Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health in Jackson, MS is seeking a nursing student assistant to provide technical assistance under the direction of the registered nurse for a defined group of patients and to support service functions and communication with staff, patients, and guests.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, contributing to a plan of care, implementing and evaluating the plan under supervision, as well as participating in activities to improve health care delivery.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full time senior student in an approved registered nursing program within 1 year of projected graduation date.
• Meets or exceeds all academic requirements.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire date.
