Job summary

BMW of North America is hiring a Spring 2027 Part-Time Internship in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. The role focuses on dealer development, market analysis, and corporate branding tasks, with a hybrid in-office work arrangement.

Eligible undergraduates or graduate students with 3.0 GPA and 60 credits can apply; the position pays hourly rates of $25.30 (undergraduates) or $32.20 (graduates) and requires US work authorization. Background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
• US Work Authorization required.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (overall, not just major).
• Completed at least 60 college credit hours at the time of application.
• Ability to work part-time (20 - 29 hours/week).
• Must submit an unofficial college transcript with your application.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents for internal meetings with large dealer groups.
• Conduct market analysis of future market planning opportunities including retail location analysis and franchising activities using software tools to gather data and formulate reports.
• Assist with the development of presentations, dealer facility capacity planning tool, milestone tracking and corporate ID documents for BMW & MINI facility renovations.
• Support the development of dealer bonus and retail standards guides.
• Support Dealer Development with ad-hoc analysis of key performance indicators to facilitate management decision making.
• Collect information from multiple departments to create executive briefing papers for dealer group meetings, grand openings and new dealer candidate meetings.
• Assist the department with the renewal of dealer contracts and documents and provide assistance as needed with Dealer Development files and versioning.
• Provide support to the BMW and MINI brands to define and document brand standards, in addition to providing support to the Regions on these topics.
• Assist with tracking and creating reports on the monthly status of standards compliance.
• Ad-hoc tasks as needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• Business fluent English.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel & PowerPoint.
• Excellent time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable to a dynamic environment.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Preference:
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and business intelligence software such as MS Power BI or Tableau and CRM software such as Salesforce.

Undergraduate students: Hourly rate is $25.30. Graduate students: Hourly rate is $32.20.
