American Public Media Group is seeking an MPR Archives Intern to help make historical collections accessible by processing materials, contributing to finding aids and metadata creation, and developing digital collections.
The internship runs January 4 to June 4, 2027 in St. Paul, MN, at 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Compensation is $20 per hour, with benefits including sick time, ACA health insurance, and participation in the APMG retirement plan.
As the MPR Archive Intern, you'll help make historical collections accessible by processing materials, contributing to finding aids and metadata creation, and developing digital collections. Such work will ensure that our catalog records and contents are accurate and complete, as well as easily findable by staff and audience members. This essential work supports the MPR Archive in making the unique collections of MPR findable and accessible to the greater public, which has been broadcasting significant news and cultural programming since 1972.
