Intern - Mechanical Engineering - Spring 2026

You will use the fundamental principles of mechanical, electrical, industrial, or other engineering disciplines to support the design, evaluation, and improvement of new products as well as existing components and/or systems. Your objective is to enable technology breakthroughs that serve the most important, yet least satisfied, outcomes of interest for our customers, providing solutions that deliver compelling value and unparalleled performance.

Responsibilities
  • Acquire knowledge of various engineering department’s operations, functions, responsibilities, and workflow.
  • Observe work assignments performed by others and actively participate in hands‑on projects and/or special assignments.
  • Use engineering skills to conduct analysis and modeling, engage in product design, develop and execute testing procedures, and participate in facilities engineering work.
  • Maintain communication with program coach/mentor to provide feedback on departmental assignments and program improvements.
  • Attend related training and apply it in work assignments.
  • Perform other related responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Being enrolled in a Bachelor’s or advanced degree program in a related engineering field such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Ability to work effectively in a variety of engineering and manufacturing assignments.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CAD systems such as AutoCad, ProE, etc.
