ITC Holdings Corp’s Summer 201 Internship Program invites students to gain valuable experience supporting communications and marketing objectives while gaining practical and real-world capability through challenging work assignments.

Join the team to assist in developing materials, support digital content, assist media relations, provide event support, and maintain media libraries as part of a hands-on internship. This program is a 12-week summer assignment with a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0 or higher in a relevant major.
• Familiarity with AP Style Guide.
• Experience with social media publishing and basic content creation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing communications materials such as intranet and newsletter articles, collateral/brochures and presentation materials.
• Support content development for digital communications such as website/intranet, social media, blog posts and video.
• Support media relations by researching outlets, updating contact lists, and monitoring coverage.
• Provide event support for internal and external-facing events such as employee meetings and open houses.
• Maintain library of audio/video footage and photography.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum 3.0 GPA, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations major
• Intermediate knowledge of AP Style Guide.
• Basic knowledge of social media products and publishing (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube).
• Comfortable with MS Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative suite of products (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator).
• This program is a 12-week program during the summer, with 40-hour work week.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. ITC does not sponsor employment visas, such as H-1B or TN visas.
