Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern in Camden, AR to help enhance systems and processes and improve overall effectiveness. You will work under general supervision and may assist in project-related activities.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial engineering and can demonstrate CAD proficiency, soldering experience, and familiarity with statistical tools such as Minitab or JMP.

Qualifications

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering or related field.
• Experience with soldering and/or basic electronic manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Experience with basic CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.) and statistical software such as Minitab or JMP is a plus.

• Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills

• Experience with soldering and/or basic electronic manufacturing processes
• Experience with basic CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc. etc.)
• Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Yellow or Green Belt
• Experience with Minitab, JMP, or other statistical software
