Sunoco LP in the United States is offering a twelve-week M&A / Growth Analytics internship beginning May 2027. The program provides hands-on experience in market analysis, financial modeling, and deal support within the M&A team.

You will research markets and potential targets, conduct competitive and financial analyses, and help prepare materials used in leadership presentations and due diligence.

Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.

This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2027. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.

Summary

The Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Intern will work closely with the M&A team to support research, analysis, and evaluation of fuel distribution acquisition opportunities for the company. This role provides hands‑on experience in market analysis, financial modeling, and deal support, offering valuable exposure to the strategic and financial aspects of business growth through acquisitions.

The intern will assist in researching markets and potential acquisition targets, conducting competitive and financial analyses, and helping prepare materials used in deal evaluations and leadership presentations.
