Aven Consulting Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our KPI Outcomes & Data Analytics team. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about using data to drive business insights and improve decision-making.

As an intern, you’ll assist with collecting, analyzing, and visualizing key performance indicators (KPIs) across a range of client projects. Your work will directly contribute to tracking outcomes, optimizing performance, and supporting strategic planning efforts for our clients in finance, operations, and real estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development, refinement, and tracking of performance metrics and KPIs
• Assist in gathering, cleaning, and analyzing datasets from internal and external sources
• Generate dashboards, visualizations, and reports that translate data into actionable insights
• Collaborate with consultants to evaluate trends, identify patterns, and flag anomalies
• Prepare presentations, summaries, and documentation for internal and client-facing use
• Conduct benchmarking research to compare client outcomes against industry standards
• Contribute to the ongoing development of data tools, models, and workflow efficiencies

Experience & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus
• Solid understanding of business KPIs, performance tracking, and data-driven strategy
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and concisely in both written and visual formats
• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative consulting environment
