The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Benefits Intern to join our Human Resources team. As a Benefits Intern, you will assist in the administration of employee benefits programs. This position provides hands‑on experience in benefits management and the opportunity to learn about a variety of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and wellness programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day‑to‑day benefits administration including enrollment, changes, and terminations
  • Help maintain accurate records and documentation for employee benefits
  • Collaborate with HR team members to address employee benefits questions or issues
  • Perform audits to ensure accuracy of benefits data in HR systems
  • Support wellness program initiatives by coordinating events and tracking participation
  • Assist in preparing reports on benefits utilization and costs
  • Manages benefits invoices in submission through bill payment software

Compensation and Benefits

The Requirements

Applicants with an expected graduation date of June 2025 or earlier will only be considered.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong interest in employee benefits and HR
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
