Job summary

Sonoco's HR internship offers a hands-on 12-week experience at our Corporate Headquarters in Hartsville, SC. You will work on real HR projects, interact with business leaders, and gain exposure across Sonoco’s enterprise. Housing and relocation support are provided as part of the program.

We seek enrolled students in HR/IO degrees with leadership potential, strong communication and technical aptitude, and a drive to grow in a global packaging company with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or master's degree program with a concentration in Human Resources, Industrial Organization or similar.
• Previous internship experience in a professional setting.
• Proven leadership experience within academic or extracurricular activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical aptitude relevant to HR projects and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR initiatives and projects as part of the HR team.
• Support processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee programs where needed.
• Collaborate with HR professionals and interns to deliver projects.
