Job summary

American Transmission Company (ATC) is seeking a Civil Design Engineering Intern to support our Design Engineers and Designers. You’ll contribute to real-world utility projects while gaining experience in civil design and transmission engineering practices.

As an intern you will acquire records, assist drawings, perform basic analyses, and participate in limited field visits. Proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation and a drive for detail will help you succeed in a growing energy grid

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Interest in utility design and infrastructure development.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license for occasional field visits.

Responsibilities

The pay range for this position is $23-27/hr. The pay range is a general guideline. Employment offers are evaluated individually and consider qualifications, experience and academic achievements.
