Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking Summer 2027 Intern Engineers for our New Jersey offices (Cherry Hill, Newark, Parsippany, Princeton). Roles cover Structures, Construction Services, Highways, Water Resources, Program Management, CAD, Tolls, ITS/Traffic, Electrical and Transportation.

You will assist engineering teams with research, design, and drawings, while learning introductory shop drawing procedures and basic calculations in a collaborative, student-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Understands engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles at a basic level.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Obtain understanding of introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
• Ability to organize information for use in drawings or other documents.
