L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering intern to assist in designing and developing electrical systems for aircraft and ground stations.

You will use CAD tools to create wiring diagrams and panels, and collaborate with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to meet program requirements. Responsibilities

• Research and preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing and Production to meet requirements at minimum cost.
• Designs may include Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, Power Distribution, Electrical Loads analysis, and load shedding; assist testing and integration on aircraft.

Job Description: In this role, you will learn to design and develop electrical systems for the integration of electrical/electronic equipment on military/commercial aircraft and ground stations.

Essential Functions:

• Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, control panels and other items using CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools

• Research and preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost

• Designs can include development of Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, Power Distribution Systems, Electrical Loads analysis, Load shedding scheme to name a few, along with the opportunity to support testing and integration of systems on the aircraft

  Qualifications:

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science or related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

  Preferred Additional Skills:

• Skills/Knowledge of/with CAD and PLM software, including NX and Teamcenter

• Knowledge of Siemens Capital software

• Understanding of basic aircraft systems

• Systems integration experience
