This is an opportunity to learn more about a specific field or functional area within Cybersecurity risk while gaining valuable hands-on work experience. The program allows Nassau to build relationships with the top talent of the future.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of tasks across Nassau’s Cybersecurity Risk Team, supporting enterprise security and risk management activities.Develop an understanding of cybersecurity risk domains, including threat management, vulnerability management, third-party cybersecurity risk, security governance, and regulatory requirements.Support cybersecurity risk assessments by evaluating threats, vulnerabilities, control effectiveness, and residual risk.Assist in conducting cybersecurity assessments of third-party service providers, including reviews of security controls, SOC reports, cyber questionnaires, and external security ratings.Participate in security governance activities, including risk reporting, policy development, control reviews, and regulatory compliance initiatives.Gain exposure to cybersecurity frameworks, security technologies, incident response, business resiliency, and emerging technology risks, including artificial intelligence.Interact with other areas of the company and build new relationshipsPerforms other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesApplicants should be pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Technology Risk Management, or other related fieldExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented and solid decision-making skillsAble to independently recognize and understand complex business issuesStrong technology skills and use of various applications/software (Microsoft Office, etc.)Team player with the ability to work independently in fast-paced dynamic environmentKnowledge of insurance and financial markets a plusKnowledge of Technology Infrastructure and Artificial Intelligence a plusCompensationNassau maintains a holistic compensation philosophy focused on competitive base salaries, performance driven incentives, and unique professional development opportunities.
