The American Heart Association is seeking an intern based in Oklahoma for remote work with occasional travel to Tulsa and Oklahoma City. You will support community health initiatives, health education, and culturally competent resources across Oklahoma.
The internship runs 20–25 hours/week from Jan 25, 2027 to May 7, 2027, with compensation at $23 per hour. This is a great entry into non-profit health work with hands-on experience.

Students will enhance their existing skill set by learning strategies to improve health outcomes in communities across Oklahoma by supporting nutrition security work, health education strategies, and creating culturally competent resources that can be utilized by communities to prevent or manage cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and stroke.
The American Heart Association's Internship Program provides college students an opportunity for hands‑on experience in various facets for individuals interested in gaining work experience with a non-profit, voluntary health organization.
