We are seeking an Undergraduate Year-Round Intern for work within Sandia's Personnel Security organization.

The internship will partner with the Personnel Security Policy Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and team members to continue identifying and implementing program improvements. On any given day, they may be called up to:

• Conduct research on best practices, analyze collected data and information, and prepare white paper proposals.
• Partner with team members to implement new and improved processes.
• Assist with revising and formalizing program documentation and job aids.
• Participate in team and organization meetings, strategy development activities, and new initiatives.
• Conduct benchmarking activities via phone, email, or Teams meetings with Personnel Security staff throughout the NNSA complex.
• Document, analyze, and summarize benchmarking results for each program area,
• Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present results and recommendations to program leadership.
• Participate in team and organization meetings, strategy development activities, and new initiatives.

Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.

Salary Range:

Our pay structure is based on earned credit hours, classification, and degree level. Your pay rate will be determined during the hire process and included in your offer package. Qualifications We Require:

You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:

• Currently attending and enrolled full time in a related accredited undergraduate program
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
• Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship

Note: If you have not earned a HS diploma or equivalent, please apply to a high school intern position.

Qualifications We Desire:

• Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Global Security, cybersecurity or related field
• Experience gathering and analyzing data and information.

Security Clearance:

Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre‑employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications.
