Job summary

Park National Corporation in Columbus, OH seeks a BI & Analytics professional to support department operations and deliver actionable insights. The role focuses on building dashboards and dashboards-driven decisions for the banking lines.

You will collaborate with BI engineers and stakeholders, ensure compliance with risk policies, and maintain data catalogs while pursuing an undergraduate degree. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; pursuing an undergraduate degree in a related area.
• Experience building dashboards and collaborating with business stakeholders is valued.

Responsibilities

• Learn Park brand, culture, and history.
• Understand department operations, processes, procedures, and performance standards.
• Contribute to projects and daily work in the banking department.
• Present project results to appropriate audiences as requested.
• Network with associates, leaders, and executives across the bank.
• Complete required training timely and seek additional development opportunities.
• Manage BI team's backlogs, prioritize needs, facilitate meetings, document and maintain data catalog.
• Collaborate with BI engineers, Data Engineers and business stakeholders to deliver projects timely.
• Build dashboards in Tableau, SSRS and Cognos; apply SQL and Python to assist coding.
• Translate business requirements to technical language for dashboards.
• Maintain awareness of compliance and risk management policies.
• Deliver a high level of service per Service Excellence standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Takes initiative to learn about Park brand, culture, and history.


• Develops an understanding of department operations, processes, procedures, and performance standards.


• Contributes to projects and daily work in assigned banking department.


• Presents project results to appropriate audience as requested.


• Networks with other associates, leaders, and executives across the bank to develop strong relationships.


• Completes required training in a timely manner and seeks out additional learning and development opportunities.


• Manage BI team's backlogs, prioritize them based on the needs of the business lines, help facilitate meetings and remove impediments for projects, preform documentation and maintain data catalog.


• Works directly with BI engineers, Data Engineers as well as business stakeholders to ensure that all projects are successfully delivered in a timely manner.


• Build dashboards in Tableau, SSRS and Cognos. Must have an awareness of SQL and python language to assist with coding and build dashboards for the business lines.


• Works directly with business lines, understand the requirements, translate the business requirements to technical language and work in building the dashboards.


• Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks.


• Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Service Excellence standards.


• Other duties as assigned.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.


• Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relative area of study at a college or university.
