As an intern, you will begin to utilize your educational background and organizational skills to serve the firm’s dynamic client base. What You’ll Actually Do

• Training: Participate in a structured on-the-job training program to become familiar with accounting and auditing principles.

• Communication: Communicate with clients’ customers, creditors, banks, and related parties regarding audit issues.
• Documentation: Prepare and document work in working papers using BDO specific tools and templates.
• Research: Complete one assigned accounting or audit‑related research project and present findings to Assurance professionals.

The Must-Haves

• Background: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting.
• Experience: No minimum years required. Leadership experience preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and actively pursuing school credits to become a CPA.
• Bonus: Pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to follow instructions as directed, ability to work effectively in a team setting, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
