Job summary

Qualifications

• Background: Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting; Entry-Level.
• Leadership experience is preferred; no specific years required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Pursuing a master's in Accounting to CPA credentials.

Responsibilities

• Learn GAAP and GAAS through a structured on-the-job training program.
• Apply BDO's audit methodology to support stages of the audit process.
• Provide support functions to the audit staff during engagements.
• Communicate with clients' customers, creditors, banks, and related parties concerning audit issues.
• Prepare and document work in working papers using BDO tools and templates.
• Complete one accounting or audit research project and present findings to Assurance professionals.

BDO is an ESOP company providing assurance, tax, and advisory services to clients across the U.S. and globally, and is looking for energetic self-starters. This role is crucial for utilizing your educational background, gaining a hands-on perspective on firm practices, and beginning to forge relationships essential for a successful career. You will work alongside experienced team members who will provide direction, coaching, and learning opportunities.

What You'll Actually Do
