GBA Architecture is seeking an Intern Architect to join our team. You will participate in multiple projects through all design phases, contributing to production, design development and coordination with engineers and contractors.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of professional experience, strong Revit skills, and excellent communication abilities. We value collaboration, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a thriving design culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• 1-5 years of experience in architectural design
• Proficient in Revit with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build strong client/stakeholder relationships
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Production support and design development of project concepts into final construction documents with drafting and coordination
• Coordinate with project consultants (engineers & contractors) and meet submittal deadlines
• Create as-built documentation and perform general code research and jurisdictional code review
• Assist with meetings, presentations and distribution of drawings/plots
• Support office administration as needed

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intern Architect to join our team. In this role, you will participate on various projects through all phases of the projects design. Applicants should have 1-3 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Revit, strong verbal and graphic communication skills, ability to work collaboratively and be self-motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include: production support and design development of project concepts into final construction documents including, drafting and coordination with project consultants (Engineers & Contractors). Production must be executed within designated project schedules and submittal deadlines. Other responsibilities include: As-built documentation, general code research, jurisdictional code research, general office administration, assistance with meeting & presentations and distribution of drawings/plots.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture

1-5 years of experience in architectural design.

Proficient in Revit with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
