Job summary

Brookfield Wealth Solutions in New York City is seeking a detail-oriented analytics intern for 40 hours per week, June 2027 to August 2027. You will work on optimization, statistics, and data processing projects within real estate, structured products, derivatives, equities and alt investments.

The role requires studying business or data science, strong Excel/VBA and Python, plus the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment and come into the office daily.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree related to business, data science, or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and VBA.
• Strong programming skills, with emphasis on Python.
• Strong mathematical and mathematical-finance background.
• Must be able to come into the office.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Compensation

• $50 per hour

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
