Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation is seeking an Air Quality Intern to join our Environment & Health team in Los Angeles, Irvine, CA or Phoenix, AZ for Spring/Summer 2027.

You will assist with emissions calculations, air quality reviews, permit applications, and regulatory interpretation while learning Ramboll's approach to sustainable solutions.

This internship offers hands-on experience in emissions modeling, data analysis, and client collaboration within a global engineering consultancy.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree with air quality coursework; GPA 3.4 or higher
• Strong computing skills including spreadsheets and word processing
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and organization skills
• Ability to understand and interpret environmental regulations

Job Description

You will join our Environment & Health department

As our new Air Quality Intern you will be part of the Air & Climate Service Line within Ramboll's Environment & Health Division. This group consists of like-minded individuals who are passionate about air and climate issues and assisting Ramboll's clients with their most challenging problems. The Air & Climate team consults with clients across various industries on a range of topics, including but not limited to emissions estimation, air dispersion modeling, human health risk assessment, climate change, permitting, and compliance.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

Salary Transparency Statement

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $22 to $25 hourly. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations.
