Through meaningful project work, mentorship, networking opportunities, and exposure to business leaders, you’ll build skills that prepare you for future success in Finance and beyond.

Job Overview:

As a Finance intern within the FAR (Foundational Analyst Rotational) Program, participants will join us for a paid, ten-week summer internship supporting one of our Finance teams. The internship experience includes networking, relevant work assignments, group projects, social and wellness events, mentorship, and other informative learning sessions with key leaders. Our programming is designed to provide students with a blend of business and professional developmental opportunities that incorporates real-world experiences.

The FAR Program assigns interns to a position supporting one of LPL’s core finance teams based on your skillset, interests, and business needs. Please note: this is not a rotational internship. You will work on one team for the internship duration. Potential internship teams include, but are not limited to:

• Advisor M&A
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Treasury

Requirements:

• Current enrolled as a sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• 3.0 GPAminimum.
• Offeriscontingentuponcompletion of bachelor’s degree,successfulbackgroundscreening, and agreement to be local to the Fort Mill/Charlotteoffice.

Preferences:

• Allmajorsareconsidered, butprograms focusinginfinance oraccounting are preferred.
• GPA of 3.3 or higher.
• Basic financial and accounting knowledge (understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, etc.)
• Leadership experience through student organizations, internships, or projects.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office 365 platforms.
• Effectivecommunication,detail-oriented,andproblem-solvingskills.
• Passionate,driven,opentonewopportunities,andproactive.

Summer 2027 Internship Schedule:

• Full - time position for 10 weeks in the summer of 2027; Monday through Friday, working 40 hours a week during business operating hours.
• Internship dates: 6/1/2027 – 8/6/2027

Hourly Rate:
