Intern - 2027
PURPOSE

Provide support to the Company’s business units while gaining real-world work experience. Maintain and grow the “Customer for Life” concept for existing and new customers. Performs related work as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be constructed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Partner with and support project managers on the implementation of projects, including inventory tracking, project scheduling, last planner task and internal punch lists
  • Gain knowledge of the systems and services the Company provides its customers via instructor-led and online training
  • Work to acquire understanding of standard issues, develop and maintain documentation, identify trends, and make suggestions to improve support processes
  • Partner with project managers in the continuation of business development and building relationships
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to maintain project schedules
  • Assist project managers in supporting field staff by providing accurate and on time project information
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Working towards a degree in construction management, mechanical, electrical engineering OR equivalent experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • General knowledge of commercial mechanical and electrical system components
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Solid work history including excellent attendance record and superior work ethic
  • Strong organization, prioritization and adaptability skills
  • Must have proficient Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with employees at all levels of an organization
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
