Job summary

Holden Farms Inc. is seeking motivated students pursuing careers in agriculture to join us as a Production Farm Intern. This hands-on internship offers real-world experience in swine production while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and innovative environment.

Onsite hours are Monday through Friday 6am to 4:30pm, and compensation is a competitive hourly wage. You will participate in daily animal care, data collection, farrowing and piglet care, and barn maintenance,

• Pursuing degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

  • Data collection and record keeping
  • Assisting with farrowing and piglet care
  • General barn maintenance and biosecurity practices
• Learn about sow farm operations, production flow, and team collaboration.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and farm goals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Previous livestock or swine experience.

Education/Experience

• Currently pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
