NFI Industries in Springfield, IL seeks an Intermodal Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day Intermodal team, respond to the needs of our operations, customers, and suppliers, and report to the Regional VP of Intermodal Operations.
You will coach staff, negotiate rates, develop SOPs, coordinate with capacity and pricing teams, and ensure service levels align with sales expectations. This role requires strong communication, TMS expertise, and a growth mindset.
The Intermodal Operations Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day management of the Intermodal Operations team. This is accomplished by effectively responding to the needs of the operations team, the Intermodal customer base, and NFI suppliers. This position reports to the Regional Vice President of Intermodal Operations.
Requirements:
We are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $80,225 - $100,282. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.
