Job summary

ConGlobal Industries LLC is seeking a Gate Inspector in Atlanta to maintain safe, efficient intermodal operations. You will inspect inbound/outbound units and log data using handheld devices, while controlling access and coordinating with drivers and staff to keep the yard running smoothly.

The role requires outdoor work in all weather, strong attention to safety, and the ability to pass background checks and screenings. Open availability across all shifts, weekends and holidays is expected.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on inbound and outbound intermodal units.
• Log inspection data using handheld devices and/or computer systems.
• Control facility access for vehicles and personnel per security protocols.
• Coordinate with drivers, team members and terminal personnel for safe movement.
• Support daily yard operations with orderly flow and accurate equipment tracking.
• Identify and report damages, hazards or safety concerns.
