Job summary

ConGlobal is hiring for an Intermodal Equipment Operator to move shipping containers within our intermodal yard. You’ll operate hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to load and relocate containers daily.

The role requires working primarily night shifts with a 6:00 PM–6:00 AM schedule, outdoor work in all weather, and a valid driver’s license. We offer paid training, competitive pay, benefits, and long-term advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in logistics or industrial environments.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment background, physical, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load/unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the yard.
• Use top loaders, side loaders, and cranes to move and organize containers.
• Perform equipment inspections before and after use for safety.
• Communicate with yard personnel to coordinate moves and tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures.
