Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services in Tupelo, MS is seeking a Radiology Technician to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, assist physicians, and ensure patient comfort and safety.

You will stay abreast of radiology changes, maintain supplies, participate in in-services, and communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality/cost effective diagnostic procedures.
• Assists Physicians and medical staff during procedures as requested/required.
• Provides excellent customer service in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Communicates effectively with patients, family members, Physicians, medical staff, and NMMS staff.
• Attends required in-services, annual review and educational programs.
• Knowledgeable of procedures, positions, supplies, and equipment used in Radiologic examinations.
• Stay abreast of changes in Radiology.
• Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines.
• Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/regulations/laws/statues.
• Organize work flow to prevent delays and control cost through appropriate use of supplies.
• All other duties as assigned.
