We’re remote-first, and we work with independent contractors in over 55 countries, so you’d be collaborating in a multicultural environment on some really interesting projects. We invite a Manual Test Engineer to join our company and work on a streamlined version of a point-of-sale (POS) and business management platform used across the restaurant, food service, and retail industries. The project focuses on building a new React-based UI for administrative functionality, including data management, reporting, and back-office operations, and integrating it with existing APIs. You’ll help ensure the quality and reliability of the solution through manual UI testing, API testing, and database checks.

• In this role, you’ll help ensure the quality and reliability of the application through hands‑on manual testing and close collaboration with the development team.
• Perform manual functional and regression testing of web applications.
• Test UI functionality and responsive layouts, ensuring consistency with designs.
• Test REST APIs using Postman and perform basic data checks in MongoDB.
• Analyze requirements and develop, execute, and maintain test cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with the development team to investigate issues, address quality concerns, and improve software reliability.
