Job summary

Mercury Systems in Torrance, CA is seeking an Intermediate Micro-Electronics Assembler for our Operations group. This hands-on role contributes to the corporation's growth and adheres to ISO9001/AS9100 quality requirements.

The position is onsite in Torrance, CA. You will learn Mercury's product lines, join a growing manufacturing team, and build understanding of electro-mechanical assemblies while maintaining company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in micro-electronics assembly or related
• Solder certification to IPC J-STD-001
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of shipment preparations for electrical/mechanical products
• Prepares completed assemblies for final inspections by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and routers
• Prepares products for shipment per Mil-Standard
• Must continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards
• Maintain logs, paperwork, and forms accurately consistent with company policy and practices
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Summary:

Mercury Systems specializes in secure mission-critical technology for the military and defense. Weare seeking anIntermediate Micro-Electronics Assemblerforour Operations group. This is a great opportunity for a \"hands-on get-it-done\" individual to contribute to thecorporation's future growth. This position is onsite in Torrance, CA.

In this role of Micro Electronic Assembler, you have the opportunity to:

Learn and understand Mercury's product lines as it pertains to operations. Become a member of a growing manufacturing group that specializes in electro-mechanical assemblies. Build upon basic understandings of the overall products and of electro-mechanical hardware. Maintain company policies and adhere to ISO9001/AS9100 quality requirements in production coordination efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs a wide variety of shipment preparations for electrical/mechanical products.
• Prepares completed Assemblies for Final inspections by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and routers.
• Prepares Products for shipment per Mil-Standard.
• Must continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards.
• Maintainlogs,paperwork, and forms accurately consistent with company policy and practices.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

• Typically requires 2-5 years of experience
• Solder Certification to IPC J-STD-001
• High School Diploma/GED
• Familiarity with PC software (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Ability to multitask and to execute under pressure
• Good Communication skills, problem-solving ability, and adaptability are preferred
• Eagar and motivated to learn, work, and grow with Mercury
