Job summary

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City seeks a Registered Nurse for our Medical Intermediate unit to provide evidence-based bedside care to adults with complex, acute and chronic conditions, including cardiac and post-surgical patients. The role encompasses assessments, care planning, medication administration, coordination with an interdisciplinary team, and patient and family education.

You will support quality and safety initiatives while mentoring support staff in a teaching-hospital

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible to practice in Missouri.
• Experience in adult acute, complex medical conditions is preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiac and post-surgical patient care is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and perform ongoing evaluations.
• Plan care for adults with complex conditions.
• Administer medications per orders.
