Job summary

WRNS Studio in San Francisco, CA seeks an Intermediate Architect or Designer for our San Francisco Studio. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and detailing medium to large scale projects with significant responsibility, under minimal supervision.

You will collaborate with designers, engineers and technicians, mentor junior staff, and contribute to project concepts from Scope to built form, ensuring rigorous technical execution and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of architectural experience with strong technical skills.
• Architectural license preferred.
• Excellent Revit skills required.
• Experience on medium to large scale projects.
• Experience with engineer consultant coordination.
• Experience in construction phase.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional Degree in Architecture (BArch / MArch).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, develop and detail projects of medium to large scope, with significant responsibility, under minimal supervision.
• Internalize architectural concepts and translate into built form.
• Collaborate effectively with teams of designers, engineers and technicians.
• Oversee and mentor junior staff.
• Explore relevant subject area, define scope, select items for investigation, and develop novel concepts and methods.
