Job summary

VSE Aviation, Inc. is seeking personnel to perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with FAA-approved data, directives, and industry practices.

You will ensure familiarity with tools, properly record work, use calibrated inspection techniques, and maintain safety standards in a busy shop environment. The role requires following inspection procedures and quality policies, keeping tools calibrated, and performing other duties as assigned in a compliant

Responsibilities

• Performing maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.
• Ensuring that they are thoroughly familiar with all tools and equipment used within their assigned area of responsibility.
• Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
• Uses appropriate inspection techniques, and calibrated equipment for the unit/part being accomplished.
• Records information and accomplishes the work assignments in compliance with the inspection procedures manual and quality policies and procedures.
• Comply with all safety directives and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain all shop calibrated tools in satisfactory operational condition.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY:

Performing maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.
